If the wars are profitable then how did the US profit from WWI, WWII, Korean war, and Viet Nam? It didn't, it cost thousands of American lives,their graves mark the countryside of many European and Asian countries. Depending on who you talk to, the U.S. is damned if they do or damned if they don't when speaking of their involvment in any wars.

As for WWII, the U.S. became involved full force on Dec. 7, 1941, the day Pearl Harbor was attacked. Coincidentally, an ambassador from Japan was meeting with the U.S. upper echelon's in Washington, D.C. in an effort to assure the U.S. of it's allied cooperation against Germany allthewhile knowing their ulterior motives. Within hours of these handshakes and promises in Washington, Japan sent kamakzi pilots to disable the strongest U.S. military base in the Pacific that posed imminent threat from the southeastern quadrant of the globe to Germany's achille's tendon.

But like I said, depending on who you talk with depends on what they think about the U.S. The morons who accuse the U.S. of arriving late clearly have no conception of history let alone facts. They also don't have a reasonable grasp of how good they really have it as a result of free nations beating Hitler's utopic Germany to pulp.
