Its a good idea and would come handy, but as stated by #5 it would be somewhat of a hastle on reflective services.
I was hoping for this video to be funny, would have made my day.
Saying that, what about your grannies who wouldn't understand the concept of it being a projected image.? and would walk INTO the wall, some big insurance claims i see

I don't imagine it's meant to be projected on the surfaces - it seems like a more practical application would be on a HUD, or a separate monitor inside the vehicle. It needs 2 cameras to make the image relevant from the observers' POV - so unless grannies are meant to be wearing portable cameras, I don't think the projection on walls is likely to be an issue.
