I like how the cat just doesnt seem to care... Notice how the tv is knocked over ever so easily. makes you think it was staged.
Staged or not. The important thing was the guy was hurt in a funny way!

Why is there no cord to the TV? Unless he we was just using his tv for show, it looks like he's a big fat phony.

#7 - Because it was obviously staged

Well obviously:
1. No power cord.
2. The cat doesn't even notice the noise nor the movement.
3. Just look at the physics of the screen. It tilts as if it was made of cardboard, then falls down without any significant damage, finally it balances back and forth for a while...

#9:
- Maybe, just maybe, he recently moved in, or whatever, I happen to have a tv that has no cord attached as well and I've been living here for a while.
- Cats often don't give a fuck, I've one xD
- Balances back and forth ?
- Cardboard. ...? Look at the SIZE of that cat. It just tilts as if the CAT opushed it, slowly off-balancing it, doesn't look weird at all to me.
- Bounces back and forth? And so? Should look like that, arced back panel and bottom. No damage? Well try and hit your LCD monitor with your had, I bet it's not so easy to make it shatter.
Why would it be fake? It's just a cut from a video of a guy recording his sit-ups, shit happens.
Seriously, I laughed my ass off and some dude starts analyzing it whether it's fake or not instead of enjoying it.

#14 - Maybe he DID just move in. And maybe he just occasionally put something under the stand of the tv to make it tilt forward so he could watch it better from the floor? but wait he wanted to do some sit-ups before he plugged it in.
Furthermore it just so happens that the TV is having a seizure as it hits the ground. It doesn't just crash and lie still. It's obviously having some kind of electric heart attack!
Maybe you're right. Now that you mention it, it doesn't look at all weird to me either... I mean. Tilted, cardboard tv's that are not plugged into any power source obviously will have some kind of seizure. It also seems more real when the TV is somehow swept from its foot stand so it's able to turn all the way upside down when it really should have hit him screen first in his face.
Thank god for the guitar though. That seems kinda normal.

#20: Yes, I believe he watches exercise programs lying on his back and the other way around so he tilts it downwards. You know, you don't need to put anything under LCD monitors, it can move on the stand :p
(But OK, as for the cord then, I've no clue.. if I use a TV I don't really unplug it. But wait... used to do that sometimes when my CAT loved tasting all the cables in the house. Oh wait, there IS a cat in the video)
Anyway it looks quite heavy to mee and painful.
I'd so watch camera view that's mounted on his head.. xD
sits up.. lies back.. sits up.. lies back.. si.. monitor tilting towards you.. gravity helps you..
