I think it goes like this: they have to read some stupid text and when they make a mistake they will be hit. Only the first one seems to make it.

#2 - The goal is to read some text out loud as fast as you can. Text that is hard to say... Like when you say it fast you trip over your words and pronounce them wrong. If they pronounce it wrong or don't make it in time... Well you can see what's gonna happen.
