i love these did you know videos.
the amount of information and progress that we as a species have made is utterly astounding.
seeing stuff like that puts things back into perspective, esp. if you were born before 1990.
seriously it made me shed a couple tears thinking about how fast we have come up, and what the future holds.

Say it this way , Ireland TV licence is 160€ (212$) and what your paying for is basically 2 channels broadcast over VHF and quality of picture is shit , programs are crap , simpsons are a year behind , adverts all over the shop ,
When he came to my house to say "TV licence inspector" i said sorry i do not have one or a TV for that matter i do have a 32inch monitor that he pointed out is a TV and i said no turning it around to display the back cover off and the tv tuner section (a simple phillips plug in module) removed , thus i can not decode any signal VHF/UHF so sorry i dont have a tv ... i dont even have a dish or any other form of receiver , i watch every thing only so no thank i wont be paying 160 for nothing.
Modern times are great if i want to watch UK tv i use Uk proxy and for usa i use hotspot shield and have access to shit loads of shows thanks to FOX and Hulu.com for being idiots and not twiggin this yet

# 13 Not trying to be an ass but what's your point and what is the relevance concerning this video? Confused and puzzled
This is interesting as I have never heard of a "TV Tax" based on ownership. I just missed the connection to this video or any posted comments. But since you have brought this up, I wouldn't mind hearing more about this. Interesting...

the blood cell thing is really just wrong. nanotech is flawed until the problem of required self assembly is solved - meaning that you can make small things, but its too expensive, so you need to use self assembling carbon structures instead - artificial cells, if you like.
but i am just being picky about that - great vid, well presented
