Non-reinforced, high sand low concrete mix crumbles pretty easily, especially when supported only on the outer ends like this. I'd say they had to be careful not to drop them on each other while setting up. Still, respect to his bloody knuckles and determination *coughstupiditycough*

Agree with #5. The strength of this concrete mix is overrated. Tip: The strenght of concrete in tension is about 10 times less compered to strenght in compresion. <- thats why they support them at the ends.

These blocks are a super lightweight aerated concrete that is so fragile, even an average guy can break it with his bare hands. A strong guy could crush it in one hand. Very fragile, but an excellent insulator. I bought broken scraps of it from a contractor that was working in my city and used it to build the firewall for my new wood stove a couple of years ago. I cut the scraps square with an old hand saw, stained it with concrete stain, and glued it to the wall with standard construction adhesive.
