hmm lets see:
- u need only 2 Persons to controll it
- u need 40.000 people to replace the machine
- imagine a normal human has to work for like 30 years (about 11.000 days)
so with this machine u have 22.000 people which has to work ONE day and 18.000 people which doesn't have to work at all. Germany is a great place to live!

#19 They are powered by electricity...the biggest of them consume about 16.560 kW.
The motor which moves the digging buckest consumes 4x840kW

Theese fotos are from Czech republic, "D?l ?eskoslovenské armády" (Mine of Czechoslovak army) near Chomutov city ( http://www.mapy.cz/#mm=F@x=130677888@y=137177472@z=13 ):
This one is undergoing maitanance:

And this is the power cable drum. Look at the skies on behind - it's dragable by caterpillar. I'm holding camera in front of my face, so you can guess that this drum is like 4-5 meters high.

There will one day spring from the brain of science a machine or force so fearful in its potentialities, so absolutely terrifying, that even man, the fighter, who will dare torture and death in order to inflict torture and death, will be appalled, and so abandon war forever - Thomas Edison..
