#18 Hey genius , look past your greenie-weenie attitude and you might notice that this is one of Subaru's CANADIAN commercials. 0:29
On top of that , Subaru is a Japanese company and they are responsible for the content of the ad.
Plus , tornadoes, hurricanes and volcanic eruptions cause more damage to mother nature than man ever does.

"Plus , tornadoes, hurricanes and volcanic eruptions cause more damage to mother nature than man ever does."
Not exactly the point of the topic but: it's just simply not true.

#21 the earth may do more damage to itself, but that is easily recovers from. Humans do far more irreversible damage, no contest, genius.
Also, my buddy Moe does the voice over for this ad (he's also Toucan Sam, Brain[from Pinky and the Brain], Futurama's Kif Kroker, Morbo, Lrr of Omican Perseai 8, and countless other characters. And Moe is Canadian. Dis the ad if you must, but don't go dissing Maurice LaMarche.

#22 #23 I don't think that any 4x4 tearing through the woods can cause as much damage as a tornado or volcanic eruption. Just look at the damage the Mount St. Helens eruption caused in Washington state."Shaken by an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, the north face of this tall symmetrical mountain collapsed in a massive rock debris avalanche. Nearly 230 square miles of forest was blown down or buried beneath volcanic deposits. At the same time a mushroom-shaped column of ash rose thousands of feet skyward and drifted downwind, turning day into night as dark, gray ash fell over eastern Washington and beyond. The eruption lasted 9 hours, but Mount St. Helens and the surrounding landscape were dramatically changed within moments."
That landscape will never be the same.

# 24 I'm talking about toxic waste. Chernobyl is still totally fucked and so is three mile Island. That stuf will be around for centuries. I'm talking un-natural disasters here, junior. Their so many chemicals leaching into ground water supplies poisoning drinking water that scientists are convinced that it will have the worst effect of all catastrophes. Man-made poisons will be our downfall and I wish i wasn't right about it.

#24. I may guess you are a typical american ? Go drive around in your cars ( those millions of cars !) and then what is worse for this planet.
with an eruption the landscape changes, but in the yeers the lava is good soil for all kinds of plants so things grow back up. the human destruction of this planet is far worse, in some places nothing ever will grow back. maybe you should go back to school and learn some more about nature ( please don't take an american school for that !! )
BTW. the Lap'nSnack looks handy, lets hit the guy with his own axe.

Looks like Lap'nSnack companies didn't have enough funds to be part of a full commercial and became part of another commercial.

#25 Junior? Ha , I was chasing skirt while you were still wearing diapers.
There is no comparison between Chernobyl, where scores of workers died during the melt-down and thousands of others died later from the release of radioactive contaminants, and 3 Mile Island where NO deaths were attributed to the accident.
"Detailed studies of the radiological consequences of the accident have been conducted by the NRC, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Health, Education and Welfare (now Health and Human Services), the Department of Energy, and the State of Pa.. Several independent studies have also been conducted. Estimates are that the average dose to about 2 million people in the area was only about 1 millirem. To put this into context, exposure from a chest x?ray is about 6 millirem. Compared to the natural radioactive background dose of about 100?125 millirem per year for the area, the collective dose to the community from the accident was very small. The maximum dose to a person at the site boundary would have been less than 100 millirem."
#26 There is no such thing as a "typical" American.

Hmm.... I think a lot of comments here are wrong, I honestly believe most people willing to buy a Subaru Outback are fit and outdoors type of people....
The rest of you can go and purchase your Lap n Snack.

How is it "all new"? I hate those words. Just cause its now 2010, doesn't make it all new. Still an Outback. Make a new model then call it all new.

35. laughingscorpion commented 13 years ago
You're all a bunch of fucking morons. Thumbs down this, assholes. #29 I'm referring to your junior intellect. I know you're a 60 y.o. loser.
