thats not new , my uncle had same thing with him but smaller and with record function / cellullar batterie / pressure sensitive.... no MAC needed xD only headphones and batteries

THis one instrument is enough to make a one man horror movie sound effects... and many things...

I would like to have to for me, for my kids.... its just feels what i wanted from a piano....!

#(removed comment) it's a bit different from a synthesizer. I don't think it's as versatile. But a synthesizer can't make the theremin noise 02:00. It looks a lot easier to play than a theremin, so I like it just for that, alone.

This guy is trying to make some thing that not only has been done many many times before but a highly competitive market were companys come out with a new device evey few months

And way to go using the cheapest fm synth sound out there sounds like crap man

#18 it has nothing to do with the theremin at all..you can't compare this touch interface or a controller for that matter with something that you barely touch.
Since this is an interface it's quite clear that you can't make it sound like a theremin. It's also not true that a synthesizer can't make a theremin noise.
But I agree, that you can reproduce theremin's sound dynamics faster with a device like this than with a synthesizer ;)
