I think Snotr has a movie diarrhea. I've never seen so many movies in such short time.

I would like to hear a little more of the part about working for very little amount of money and giving away the products for free. I don't see how that add up. ( 7:26 )

Am I the only one who realizes some of trancetunes' videos have alreayd been posted right here on Snotr no less than like two months ago?

Or am I just moving from one parallel universe to another in which these videos have not been posted yet?

Note: its not that the people should be paid any less than what the employers plan on paying them its that the employers have to give them what they desire more than money itself - purpose.

This guy's drawings are awesome! I only wish they showed the entire drawing at the end of the speech - from left to right...

#9 You got it! The sole purpose of our lives right now is to seek profit. Schools and workplaces want to turn us into "standardized workers", all the same with the same knowledge and aptitudes. The only problem is the we are not robots.

The key word here is PURPOSE.

Give people a mission, give them purpose, give them self determination (autonomy) and you provide them with the tools to do what seems impossible!

What make capitalism fail right now is the simple fact that the system is geared to use robots, not free thinkers. By changing slightly the system we will bring innovation back, create new inventions and foster new ideas.

Pretty rudimentary common sense. Money does not equal happiness. Unfortunately, survival these days doesn't run on happiness... it usually tends to run on money.

And THAT is why people have hobbies. What one may call hard work, another may call a hobby. You have to 'un-string' the bow every once in a while to keep it in good shape. But find a job you love, and you'll never work a day in your life (you lucky bastards).

P.S. Federal Reserve bank IS left wing.

Great ! Many thanks !

But even I already know some part of this theory, there is still something somewhere which makes me uncomfortable... Does free software writers give really all at no fee? What's about the others, working to feed their families?
I like free software, but does free software is fair, especially when it's better than purchased software?

Maslow's hierarchy. Once you've satisfied the need for food and clothing, the mind starts to work for itself.
Brilliantly portrayed!!!

#(removed comment) - Your reply to my original comment which will now get scrapped because i'm replying to you, (which was '#11 - let's make the world great again') makes me kind of pity you.
The world is an amazing and great place, but i guess it's about how you perceive it. I think it's pretty great... I mean have you ever felt love? or done something risky that makes your gut sink and fills your veins with adrenaline? ever achieved something you set your mind to? ever chilled with mates, laughed, enjoyed their company? won a sporting event that you want badly? seen random people help each other? etc etc. Obviously there are things that are sh*t about it, but i mean your at home on a computer, chillin... There are people way worse off than you out there, so be a little bit more optimistic champ...

finally something different than a dog barking strangly or tik tok star trek !!
maybe snotr could have a whole section dedicated to interesting stuff like that or more simply things that involve a little thinking even when they're recreative.
i'd like to see the complete video for that presentation because http://cognitivemedia.co.uk/index.php
does not have it

This is from TED. I've seen this one (the real podcast) a year ago on www.TED/com. There was also an interesting one about wikipedia. how it started and everything. Wish they did more videos like this. And put it in public schools worldwide. This is key information IMO for any person who wants to start a company in the future.

#16 you are soo right, you can't help but feel for people like that, #11, #12's got a point. Can't argue patriotism and pride but we're all in this together! this is video of the YEAR imo! this is why Snotr is awesome....I would have never seen this video if it hadn't been for this site! not trying to brown nose but its the truth! me and my 2 friends have been making a video game (specifically a RPG) we've prolly put a good year of work into and it's all done from free time and fun. This is what should be taught in school's around the world, it's crazy to think that FUN could be a better learning tool then the common text book. just my 2 cents

#13, the Federal Reserve is NOT left wing lol.. It's controlled by private companies essentially, which makes it pretty RIGHT wing. Real leftists and socialists would want the distribution and production of society under control of REAL WORKING PEOPLE. Not some mega-rich CEO's and lobbyist groups that corrupt politicians. It's called Dictatorship of the Proletariat. (Don't confuse that word dictatorship, though. All it means is working people in control :) ).
