i'm also just a little curious what would they have done if someone crashed or got hurt. who gets the blame? lol

That will work until the first customer gets hit by someone going to fast in the store and sues the daylights out of the store. Yes it stinks but lawyers and stupid lawsuits spool anything fun. Remember lawn darts? GONE!
