Poor future mechanics must be mad with all those colorful animations being in the way all the time.

This way mechanics will become obsolete, as any sane person can follow these instructions.

Very cool tho, I want one!

OK and now a bloody reality check ....if there able to do that why would you even need a human ...

on those glasses it looks simple remove 2 screws but that happens to be one thing under the hood anybody can do , id love to see the section on "Remove 12 screws , drop oil pan , run for bucket"

And would be nice option to have achievements unlocking eg

OK, pretty cool, and I do want one! Would be way better than the manuals you get for cars at auto-parts stores. However, I have to ask if it has troubleshooting capabilities, like oops broken screw/bolt. I suppose if you have enough money for this then you have only new cars as well.

#2 is right about mechanics becoming obsoletes, next time you go to BMW to get your car fixed they'll give you a choice: Either 100$/hour to fix it or rent these goggles for 25$/hour and do it yourself genius! >:) :P
#4 You achievements whore! >:)

Does it include a sensor to read if the Machanic needs a wee, but i think its a great idea, you would want your car fixed by a none trained machanic following instructions from a voice over acter from C&C wouldent you !

I thought a mechanic was suposed to know what he does, instead of saying 'next step'

and what about men knowing their job? because if you are a good mechanic normally you dont need this kind of shit... that's just what you are paid for... its like if a baker had some glasses telling him how to make bread...

The biggest problem is : What does the computer do if you give it a car that you have modified? Let's say you have replaced the air box with a P-Flow assembly? Let's say you have replaced the rad with a racing heat exchanger?

Any modification you make to the car will render this system useless. Or is it that it will become illegal to modify your car in the future? I want my freedom and so do most people!

So this is basically saying that all mechanics are good for is picking up stuff and bolting it in place. Bang on the nail. You would have thought it would be the other way round with the machine doing the labouring. Some how though its just not that suprising. I still doubt the mechanics ability to follow those instructions properly.
