Religion is about faith. But logically thinking...
Which one do you need more "faith"?

hehe this kind of video can bring some hot debates... Creation/Evolution... the eternal fight for the truth. I hope one day we will get a clear answer to that with hard proofs.

Nice video.
I understand why people want to think like this.
But there is no evidence that we are not made for this universe.
Maybe we're not in the middle of the universe but that doesn't really matter in the case for made in this universe. The're has never been seen a planet where there's live. Intelligent live is surely not there. If there where. Why haven't they come to our planet. And you know I don't believe live can be created by natural proseses ,but only by a creator. Secondly what's with the garden of eden. That didn't gave us all knowledge just the perseption of what is wrong and wright. And it is easy to say that science has led us to be better. But we have just given a name to all our development and put that next to theorie that is basicaly wrong. That doesn't talk about communion but individualism. And if you think about it. To much self respect is the source of almost al evil. Because I want to get better, bigger, mightier, stronger, etc. I'm sorry but it is just hard to hear the truth

we are lost in a great darkness. yet we learnd to make ......light.
the wolrd is not yet ready to drop de burden that is all religion.
most of u still need it and that isnt a bad thing, but as a child learns to stand up str8t and walk.......so will we..... in time.

I don't like religion because all of them are made in such a way, that you must blindly obey it. "Everything is yours, paradise is yours, just don't eat from the tree of knowledge" Translation : "Don't start thinking for yourself or you will go to hell"

#6 who cares if you get low ratings ...didn't you guess by now that the majority of people here are imbeciles who votes positive when you talk about vagina/penis? There are of the lowest expectation so whatever I always vote negative on their stupidity and always at least check the negative/hidden ones and so should everybody else that is sane here... Though I admit it's not worth the lost of time I know.

Drowning in middle of the sea where there is no one to save your Life ...And at that time You have a feeling in your Heart that there is someone Who can save you From Drowning ...

this is a typical situation when one can ask you 'where is your god now?' and you'll drown anyway

#6 - no one said you have no purpose in life. It is unlikely, however, that you are some god's favourite little kitten, so maybe you should make your own purpose in life and do good with it. If religious institutions concentrated more on the fellowship and well being of ALL people and less about the glory of their own "faith", we would all make it back to the garden...

Carl Sagan was an absolutely brilliant man, but sometimes we
educate our minds at the expense of our hearts...
Here's an example:
You're driving to a destination for the first time, and you're not a religious nut, or a psychic,
but on the way you 'feel in your gut' like you passed the turn.
With your mind screaming that you're crazy, you turn around and go back, only to find that you really did pass the turn.
How did you know to do that?
YOU did it.
You just did what you felt was the right thing to do.
It doesn't mean you're always going to be right.
It's like learning to ride a bike, you get better at it.
Your mind will never agree with this kind of thing, or act without 'proof'.
It will come up with all kinds of reasonings, because it always wants to see first, then believe.
kinda like Mr. Sagan...
but with some things, we believe first, then we see.

#28 I got what you said ..you see deeds matter when you are in belive with something ...Athiests dont believe in GOD so they do good or bad things doesent matters..The Believers of GOD are not selfish because they do things which are right and every right thing has a reward ..the difference is that the unbelievers get their rewards in this life and the Believers get their rewards afterlife...
You need a livelihood(job) I cannot say that you are greedy thats why you are doing job for money ..

#16 why are you scared too? that you really dont have a purpose when you die you die thats it theres no second life or salvation etc. Religion completely blinded people of the real truth though they do have advantages, just think of it like the movie matrix, stay in the matrix with order or be free.
