#15 Yea in the movies you are supposed to overlook little inconsistencies like that. That appears to be a .45 cal. semi-auto and when this movie was made high-capacity 45's were not common. My Colt .45 ACP Combat Commander only has a 7 round magazine.

I didn't count the shots but the bullet left in the chamber was so obvious so if u take the time to empty the last 2 bullets do the chamber too...

#15 , I have an IMI .40S&W with 10 round magazines that can actually hold 12 in the mag and 1 in the chamber to equal your 13. Subtle protesting of the brady laws by manufacturers. Although as #17 commented 45 ACP tended to have a smaller magazine size. Unless that pistol was double stacked there is no way that frame accommodates 13.

Good scene tho, fun. 8-)
