I was thinking it was a viral ad as well, but looking into it, it seems to be a 17yo High School quarterback was given permission to try the shot. He was given a 2 hour window to try, and with about 10min left, he made it!

Sorry for being a smart ass but this is not that far of a shot as it does not travel that far , it falls a lot thats about it other than that he put very little effort in the throwing part , and as #2 pointed out he had 2 hours to try it im sure any one given enough time would get it in eventually with low wind,
To call it the furthest shot is a bit of a cheat thats like puttin a hoop under the tallest building in the world dropping it down straight for an hour till it goes it and calling that that the furthest id like to see him throw it 220ft on the ground
