This is a type of ichoneumon wasp. They specialize on a certain host (the spider in this case) to lay their eggs into, usually burrowing the host afterwards. Since a spider can survive long periods with no food or water (up to one year without food: brachypelma smithi e.g.) the hatched larvae find live food waiting for them. yummy!

Well done, #12, beat me to it. The spider is not dead..... yet. Not until it gets eaten alive by baby wasps from the inside out... I believe this is where the inspiration for "Alien" came from.
