Watch how this high-powered audio system nearly rattles the whole car apart. A great tool to impress/annoy your neighbors :D

What's even the point of reaching such effects?
You'll probably need that kind of sound when your 90 and have no hearing left.. :p

This is retarded... It's definitely more than 1,700W. I had 1,400W in my old car when younger... But it was all German engineered goodness. Who needs noise if it it of crappy quality? :(

mmmmmm...i am unable to watch this video here, but i have seen it elsewhere and i am slighly impressed. Being a electrical engineer i used to design and build high power ICE and i used to run approx 2K of sound in my car. One thing i would like to know is how many alternators and batteries does this guy have fitted ?? Also the engine must be running or a flat battery would immediatly happen. I suspect some mains voltage amplification has been used for this video and cabling to power these amps has been hidden. To get 17000W of real music sound (RMS) you would need many more speakers than this person has used. Also this vehicle is being shaken apart by the vibration, all the instrument cluster would start to malfunction and leaks will start to appear when it rains !! Trust me i had all sorts of problems caused by ICE..i also had spot welding failing where the roof was held on !! Oh, and several mates trying escape through the sunroof when the bass kicks in lol

Yeah, that's probably 17,000 watts peak, which is the value most often advertised by consumer audio equipment manufacturers.

If it really was 17,000 RMS it would be drawing well over 1000 amps which you would need a LOT of alternators and batteries to withhold.

Totally pointless. It's absolutely amazing how some people can still find cool to put such sound power in their cars...
