Was hoping to see the rocket go above the clouds but still quite impressive work.
Anyone who thinks it is easy to do from above comments I feel sorry for you.
It takes quite a bit of engineering with somewhat complex equations to calculate things related to rocket weight/fuel ratio, aerodynamics, etc.

What's with all these bad comments and down ratings?? Like what's wrong with comment #9 its a perfectly sensible comment...
Having tried this myself it takes a lot of work to get it right and to build a 2 stage water rocket is really difficult, well done to the guy who achieved this.

Sure beats the 2ltr Coke bottle that my friend and I used to muck around with. Drill a hole in the lid, half fill it with water and hold an air compressor onto it until we had no strength left to hold on then run like hell. That thing was lethal and I swear it would chase us, good times.

Awesome experience ! Makes me think , can NASA actualy create something in a larger scaler with enough torque to propel humans ?
I dont like underated coments, some of those coments were plausible good , this makes me think that there are more stupid than sane people in here, again, i dont like this
