i feel sorry for the poor americans sent to meet their makers for the interests of oil and reconstruction company profits.

#8 You said it bro. Those poor guys are fighting and dying not for peace but for interests of big corporations. Even though they bombed my country eleven years ago, I fell sorry for them for being stupid, believing they are liberating people when they are just securing Americas "National Interests" all around the world. Someone once said that war is when old bitter people convince young and foolish people to fight and die for them.

Oh well as long as they find the WMD's i suppose its worth it. As far as the 'heros' bit goes, i don't get that, they are getting paid to invade countries and kill people. How many soldiers have volunteered to go to Iraq, unpaid, on moral grounds?
And i'm not pro-islam, having been through their prison system taught me a few harsh truths about which side i'm on.

This is sooo ironic. Killing other people, other daddys, coming home and hugging the (innocent) children.

I understand that there is a price to be paid for democracy, but I ache when I see the reactions of these children and family members who've been separated from the ones they love. I wont get political, because I don't think anyone really knows the motives of the ones who control when and where our military goes. But GOD bless and keep those and the families of those that lay their lives down for our way of life. And GOD help those that send them if their motives aren't right.BRING OUR TROOPS HOME TO THEIR FAMILIES AND THEIR BABIES! THEY ARE ALL HEROES!

I am a soldier,I have done what is shown here many times. It makes me cry every time why do I do what I do?Tough question ,but any operater will tell you that we fight for those who can,t fight for themselves.Standing orders for those under my command, non combatants are untouchable, the abuse of them is not tolerated,if my unit is under fire and there is the chance however remote that returning fire will harm or injure non-combatants we will eat those rounds and bleed untill it is SAFE to engage any forces firing on us.......WE BLEED SO YOU DON,T HAVE TO.

#26 Most Americans appreciate your sacrifice and understand what could happen if the Islamic extremists are allowed to win. I live in a part of Va. that has a heavy military presence and I get to talk to many guys on the teams and Marines and Army that have just returned from the war zone. All of them talk about how the civilians in Allied controlled areas in Iraq and Afghanistan are glad to be rid of Taliban and Al Queda control.
Keep up the good work and God Bless.
