It actually reminds a lot of a case we had in Denmark where a former elite soldier from the dansish "Jægerkorpset" wrote a book called "Hunter - in war with the elite" where he in the militarys opinion revealed to many secrets about them. Long story short, the military tried to stop it from publishing, and didn't succeed.

I think the the most stupid thing is here is that if he was actually going to release any kind of real sensitive information he would just vanish in to thin air as they have you believe in the movies.

I think they just want to feal big by blanking out a few random things to feal good about them selfs after they couldent find anything worth while blanking

Either they blacked out a whole lot of things other than what te reporter said was blacket out or this was just a plot by the author or some old colleague of his to make the book sell more.
