People i do understand a little bit of video editing...but....how do people create 3d stuff and then merge it into a movie....how? The model was created with 3ds max? but...how do you get it in the video...can somebody explain this....just short...not step by step how you do it...

i work in 3d max and i gotta tell u its not easy. the clip is awsome, efects, render....im guessin it was a lot of work.

I like the way how the clip is made up like a big-money hollywood clip but with 100% post-soviet flair.

No glamorous cars, no bling-bling and one of the actors wore beach sandals!

#5 you use Adobe After Effects for that..you can import models from 3DS Max/Cinema 4D/Blender etc. and add effects like smoke and stuff. Go see www.videocopilot.net for cool free tutorials for AE (After Effects is a sick software btw =)

#5 in a nutshell....
1. write a storyboard
2. do the real scene.. (just People, no robots at all)
3. extract the 3D position of the camera by match moving the camera footage
4. render out the 3D scene (Robots + Transparent Background)
5. combine the two layers by putting the people footage under the robots footage
