Shit, I know there's no pressure, but I feel I have to do something right now before it's late
I'm out.
I'm out.

Solving 1/10th of the problem isn't solving anything at all. Governments should just start making hydrogen with solar, wind and water power. Put up windmills, solar panels and turbines next to rivers and so on... (Just do it already!!) Hydrogen can be stored so also when there isn't a big demand for energy no reason to stop collecting. Now they disable lots of windmills a lot of the time, same for other clean sources for electricity.
Please don't come knocking with financial crap. Germany was broke during WW2 but still lots of weapons were produced anyways.

#3 do think about the impact of those windmills and turbines on the location where you want them set up. as in 1 or 2 windmills won't have much of a impact, but also no result. so when you put alot of them, to get some results, you are also changing the way the wind effects the area... so you might just solve 1 problem by creating another...

i think threats, even when made funny like these, only have a counter effect on people.

I'm all for reducing my carbon footprint, but this was the dumbest load of shit ever. They should have contributed to their own cause by not using the electricity it took to make this.

One problem I have with this Lately there has been word in the scientific papers that the hole in the ozone is in recession and that its no longer a threat ? No that it means we do not have to give a shit any more but to be honest I dont think were to blame and ever were it used to all be about CFC's and now there shifting the blame on us , while I do recycle and I cycle to work. Im all in support of saving the planet and such but christ im not going to stop using hot water or spend thousands insulating my attic i just put a jumper on indoors and dont have the house boiling all day long

will it really help by jo public tryin to save the planet by not fillin up the kettle to make a cup of tea or laggin the loft, the real problem is giant companies spewin shite into the air day in day out, our measely efforts are just a drop in the ocean, sort out the big boys = sort out the planet.

A cow produces 10 times the amount of CO2 then a car, But I don't hear anyone crying "KILL THE COWS!!"
-I'm not saying we should. Just saying most people are ignorant about the fact that the majority of CO2 comes from organic material being metabolized.
Bet you didn't know that!

Eventual other problems caused by windmills can't be as bad as global warming. Also you're only looking at windmills. If for instance all houses would have solar panels they would be set for life and beyond (not even talking about using the full surface of the roof).

To much of anything is always bad, even money (very corrupting).

The ozone problem had little to do with our CO2 emissions. Almost completely a different issue. It's all about balance. See comment above.
#23
Cars are also a relative small part of the global warming issue (but would also be nice not to have smog hanging around cities and such). But you do have a point. Most of these sort of problems can be tracked back to the human overpopulation of the planet.

Aren't we already killing and eating them!?

#23 the problem isn't CO2 emissions from living creatures, because the CO2 that comes from plants, animals, ... was originally in the atmosphere so it's not really adding any CO2 at all while fossil CO2 was removed from the atmosphere millions of years ago so it's a problem ( that's why it's okay for your CO2 footprint to fuel your car with ethanol produced from plants since the CO2 you reject while driving was pumped from the atmosphere only a few months ago)

Boy these people have really had their full share of the Cool Aid. If this isn't disturbing to any or you a reevaluation of your values is in order. If not you could jump into a live volcano and really do some good. It is always a commitment to spending other peoples money and telling people how to live their lives. Never any questioning of science because it doesn't exist. Just environmentalist who have been proven to make up the facts to fit what they want it to say. People who have millions to gain by full implementation of their laws to save the world. Like Al Gore and the whole carbon credit scam. He stands to make millions. Google Shore Bank and read it yourself.
