WooHoo! first video I've submitted.
I've seen him live a few times in big venues and small pubs. The whole room just goes silent every time. This isn't my favorite of his songs but one of the best videos I could find for his unique guitar playing.

I like the style of music he plays, this guy's very skilled. If you liked this, check out Andy McKee he's even more awesome :)

Fingerstyle guitar players already do this but what he is doing unique is he is singing instead of rendering it vocal track in the guitar. Also using the delay pedal on the melody and percussion and sound effects makes this unique and interesting.

#8 I think its just a spacer -or- a powerful mic insulated from vibration to get those percussive noises clearly while leaving the guitar tone entirely to the magnetic pickups. This probably explains the crisp echo of the effects without the random noises.

slow motion makes the moves unsynchronized with the song and that blows the idea

Not the most amazing thing I've heard, but defiantly Jedi Apprentice musician status. Thumbs up for his display of awesomeness ::(|)

Also check out Kaki King with her pink noise at TED, the intro that she gives is quite nice.
