This guy is for real and has made millions with these blooper videos that are popular all over the world,(except in Ireland it seems). He is also a champion bass fisherman but has retired from competition to concentrate on making more money doing other fishing related activities.

most are real bloopers. Watch close the "mustard blooper", and see him holding the top on with his finger. The cap is not open. The anchor rope is not tied. Yes that does happen, but really? Also, the "battery' at the end. You can see the hand of someone on left side of screen pulling the boat out of the way.
Yes he has made tons of money actually fishing, and is a Pro Fisherman. But to stage bloopers to add to a video, is not very good. As bad as "staged" bloopers on AFV.....

On my hall wall I have a Christmas gift from a few years ago. It is a reminder of a couple things. First: I have been a 3 Stooges fan since before dirt. Second: The gift is a well framed bio with pictures of Moe, Larry and Curly, dates of birth, death, productions etc. Missing is my favorite (not redundant) member, Shemp. What this gift, the memories and all things slap-stick remind me of is a simple truth. YOU DON'T HAVE TO SMOKE AND DRINK AND DO DRUGS TO HAVE FUN!!!! There's a message there for many - some you wrote comments above - would do well to think about. Bill Dance is a good man. He has a natural propensity for stumbling over his own feet and someone with a little sense decided to exploit that fact, even when is so obvious some of the calamities are, well, helped along a bit and we, at least those of us who would rather NOT hear vulgarity and the Lord's name used in vain just because a snake falls on your head sitting quietly in your boat nestled a nook by the bank under a tree fishing. (run on sentence - look it up on Wikipedia) So, LONG LIVE BILL DANCE. I hope to see a hundred more just like this.

very funny but certain bloopers where staged. Watch him hold the tip on the top of the mustard bottle and then just let it go. It was obviously not tightened on. then right after that one with the trolling motor battery. watch how the boat just seems to be pulled forward to give him room to swing the battery and flop into the water. there were a few more questionable bloopers but those 2 where absolute fakes to me. otherwise some very funny stuff.

This was so hilarious, staged or not!! I haven't had a good belly laugh for a long time!!! I laughed til I cried...People that criticized: please just enjoy it...you don't have to take the fun out of everything! I've seen people make mistakes like this and all of us have at one time or another made some mistakes..some are not so funny at the time, but later we can laugh at ourselves. Keep doing these fun videos!!!

Some of these bloopers may be staged, but almost everyone has happened to my husband. Since Bill always has someone near him with a camera he gets caught making his mistakes. We just have to tell about the bloopers that happen to my husband. Both of them make me laugh so much.

It doesn't matter if sound effects are added or not, it is still funny. I also don't belief any of it was staged. Between my dad and ex-brother-in-law, I can see how one man can be this clumsy. I just don't want to be around him...at all!

Bill Dance has had a fishing show for what seems to be forever. I think he taught Noah how to fish from the ark. He's probably forgot more about fishing that most of us will ever know and of course over a run of weekly shows that began back in 1968, he's accumulated a few blooper reels to share with us.

You have to be a fisherman to REALLY appreciate this video. I am sure that a lot of the fishermen has had quite a few good and bad experiences so that when you look back at it, you laugh like crazy. To Stanly....Bill attended Tennesee that's why he wears the hat...He is not a proffessor...he is a professional Bass fisherman. I did get him to let me photograph him with a Carolina hat on....but he stuck his fingers in his ears and wagged them like a mule...guess what? I published the pic in my syndicated outdoors column.
I began my foray into the world of pro bass fishing about the same time as did Bill.We were in many, many tournaments together. Then we both turned to tv shows...his was much more successful than was mine.So after a few years of declining ratings,I went fulltime outdoor writer.
Bill and I ran into each other many times over the years,and today I laugh out loud watching videos of my old friend screwing up as usual.

The bloopers are real & re-creations. Sometimes the camera caught the clumsy mistake on film during the series production, sometimes not. When not, Bill Dance re-created it for the Bloopers videos. The sound effects were added for the bloopers videos. Now, lighten up, let your down-to-earth sense of humor live a little.
