Pretty interesting article, but I don't think the government would leave their secrets to a private company like this. I'm pretty sure they have another one just for themselves somewhere bigger and stronger. this is more like the Svalbard Global Seed Vault but of Information and History.

#1, agree. Knowing how hysterical the US is, they must have another super-secret location anywhere else...

5:17 paper cut, what a dangerous job, I hope she insured,

photos that are more valuable than diamonds!!! Einstein with his tongue sticking and Hitler as a baby I prefer to have diamonds dust than these photos.

It doesn't matter where they hide their secrets.
They won't be safe from Wikileaks.

damn i wish some activists would take this place over by force and reveal all the secrets kept inside here by the governements...
(but i wish they would not destroy or steal the pieces of arts like the records or the pictures...)

Iron mountain is no government crap, it's a private company that operates all over the world. They have this fancy mine, but also regular storage buildings..

I'd love to see what patents they have stored down there... Gotta protect those texan oil barons from cheap energy.

I watched a documentary once (by BBC if I remember correctly) about life after humans and according to it the only thing that stands a test of 1000 years are records made in clay.

It's a intellectual storehouse, and, in this instance has exceedingly more value then any amount of gold, silver or jewels. I can assure you, Big Government secrets are no where near this place. Nice video YetiGrowl. :)

#10 Wiki-leaks already exposed some documents from the 9/11 attacks. I will try to find the document if I remember where I read it from. But basically, they lied to us about the 9/11 attacks.

#14 obviously they lied to the world about the attacks. there's way too much information pointing towards something else going on that day. and #13, i said goernment cause that's what the info said on youtube and the first words from the reporter :) i have no idea.

This is crap Iron Mountain is a company with locations all over the world. Through my dealings with them in Australia I do not rate them as a secure offsite storage facility

Doesn't seem that secure to me. Those rickety, yellow gates are all that's keeping people out? I could talk those down.

The company I work for stores its documents with Iron Mountain, and I wasn't aware that it was shipped to Pennsylvania, but the things I don't know can fill several underground vaults apparently. :P
