#2 no because
1. It's not cost efficient for recyclers.
2. giving them for free promotes Natures safety by encouraging green saving industry.

By not selling them you do a big favor to our mother earth.

#1 #5 In Croatia there are recycling lots that pay you for delivering used batteries. It's not much money, but is stimulating people to deliver old batteries to these lots, and not just leaving them on a junkyard.

This is a lie! Everyoen knows that if you open up a car battery hundreds of smaller AA batteries pour out.

#8 Total shit I work with lead daily at work and after having my blood tested it came up with a limit lower than what is considered standard amount of lead in the human body , infact the woman in the factory who they used as a control sample who works in a office and rarely deals with our lead components had 3 times more lead in her blood, And that was even considered well under the norm.

Lead is not as toxic and deadly as people make it out to be as long as your wearing the right PPE's your fine to work with lead.

Its true if you pay money, even if its not a lot, you do encourage people to give you their old car batteries. The same applies to a lot more things than that tho :)
