Bravo. These are the type of break through we need to bring this world to a better place to live in, NOT discovering the origin of god or anything. Not only does it improve people's chances of survival is a more severe case occurs, it also erase their scar that might leave them miserable for a life time.

#7 Because religion and doubts about this being ethical.

Personally, I think this kind of technology is amazing. Just think of how many people that can get their lives "fixed" with stuff like this.

#4 How about nastier weapons? :P

About the video, very nice, but why did they give us a shot of the burned hand and then a shot of the healed arm. How can i compare? I can't.

#7 I believe the issue is with embryonic (about 100 cells) stem cell research. Basically some people believe that cloning and then killing human embryos is unethical. Researchers now say that adult stem cells are as good as embryonic but without all the ethical problems.
#10 It is not and I can understand your disbelief. It does look like alien tech. This is however the present of our medical science.

At 3:01 why does he say "this is what Urims's skin PROBABLY looked like before treatment"? It either did or it didn't. Maybe I'm mistaken but that doesn't make sense.

#11 its more like alien Ink

if it takes on 1.5 hours i would be happy to see the whole process in a single video. not two different shots.

#13 that was scientist speak for "we didnt catch it on film, heres some other burned fellow"

This is a very VERY cool technology, and I really hope they iron all the bugs out quick and get this into every hospital around the globe. I have a friend who was viciously set on fire with gasoline and looks like freddie freakin kruger. He could have used a skin gun :\

#11 No, adult stem cells are already specialized and for example skin stem cells will only be useable to grow skin. This is why we still make research on embryonic stem cells; but adult stem are more convinient because they prevent rejection and other problems, but if we want to grow an entire complexe organ we will have to use embryonic stem cells or learn how to de-specialize adult stem cells wich we can do only by studying embryonic stem cells.

its been 9 years...we were supposed to be reaching for the stars. Instead we have "woke" movements whatever that means, flat earthers, anti vax and other dumb shit getting praised...Its supposed to be the information age, but a lot are too lazy to learn how to think critically. Still, its their life...:|
