If you can see the telephoto lens as a dot in the distance, they can see you very clear.

Not impressed until it can take a picture of the instruments/rover left on the moon... Plus, it's Canon, so it'll have to be calibrated for every camera body put on it :D

Problem with zoom like that is .....a 1mm movement at camera is like a 10 or 20 foot shake that far zoomed in so unless its 100% stable its useless

Seems a bit bulky. You can accomplish much the same thing with a 14" SCT and a focal extender, which is certainly not a small instrument, but smallER.

Nothing new to see here as they have been around for ages...

I live near Jodrell Bank and that's hundreds times bigger...

What's the purpose of this? Why would you want to photograph something so far when you can just travel over there and take a normal picture?
