4# ME is win98SE with a few minor differences. Its no update in essence, whereas Win2k is a direct update of Win NT 4.0 (which is why doom2 wont start)

This was quite a trip to the past :) Such a great idea.. I was suprised how much stuff just kept working ! Now I want to play nibbles :)

OMG I don't miss the days of 3.1, nothing like having to create boot disks to launch Sim City or Castle Wolfenstein. And I believe that they didn't add Windows ME because they wanted OSs that worked.

Loved that they used Monkey Island to test it. Favourite game ever.

I even remember using prestel and playing the original pong. How's that for old!?
Thanks for this video, it was a great trip down memory lane. Shame we can't fast forward through 20 years to see what's ahead for Windows.

(i) Few people know that all Hospital Respiratory Equipment are controlled by Microsoft Windows. Because medecine cannot risk lives by using any other operating system, lack of reliability could cause deaths.
