#6 & #8 are right. Pound for pound chimpanzees are several times stronger than humans, especially their grip strength. If you ever found yourself in a hand to hand situation with an enraged chimp, it might be better for you if you didn't survive the incident. They can mess you up real bad.

Their research works so different... We (uni göttingen or rather dpz) do similiar experiments here, but the animals are kept as wild as possible. there is no "hugging", not human-ape interaction except the occasional vetenerian etc..
