Yeah, it's shocking for many people if it's dog meat, but eating beef or pork is juuuuuust fine, while in other countries its the other way around. Ah, humans.

And for record, I don't eat ANY meat, the thought of my family dog getting slaughtered and then served in restaurants is unimaginable, so why would it be different for other kinds of animals?

But I am surprised after looking at #3 's link to find that eating dog is fairly common in Switzerland. That one really surprised me since the St.Bernard is a national symbol there.
