If you did that to the game InFamous, the CD would probably hit back!

#(removed comment) - "...you probably cant even use it anymore" - Are you serious???

He sounded like he's an east london ganster, was expecting him to hit the CD with a sledge hammer at the beginning or chop it up and feed it to his pigs lol

This is cool but expensive way to erase (destroy) CD. I would just break in half.

It's not about the expenses but the coolness! I want to see that in real life! :D

For those who are interessted..this is the guys channel
http://www.youtube.com/user/Photonicinduction

He is a freak scientist with high voltage (as you already seen)

And to those who say "Meh..the power cost is higher then just to break the cd.." Its called having fun..nobody said its an efficient way..but hey..the data is 100% erased..and that in a way that its also fun to look at =)

#(removed comment) Thats a funny comment..i guess there is a difference between erasing and deleting

If you put your head close enough while you "erase" the CD, you can add texture and volume to flat lifeless hair at the time.

Hate to say it but that cd is not erased only the reflective layer is gone , the pits are still there and some one in a lab could get the data off it no problem!!

That does not erase CD, but only remove the reflective coat, if you recoat again the surface with reflective material, you will be able to read it again.

The datas are bunred into the plastic disc not in the reflectif coat.
