Whamo-O sold three colors of this stuff in the 70s under the name Magic Sand. I have a rather amusing memory of some children wreaking havoc on a garbage disposal unit with some of the stuff. It seems funny now, back then, not so much.

#5 I have a vague memory of similar stuff in my childhood :)

As for the video - couldn't a lot of the marketing have been cut from the end?

#5 #6 It's out on the market still, you can buy it in a kid's store... Belive the name still is "magic sand" or something.

Don't get why make a video of old stuff like this :|

#6 My post wasn't about my childhood. It was about one of the many reasons that I give messy and/or loud toys to my grandchildren >:)

"Float" down to the bottom? I'm pretty sure you mean "sink".

If I wanted to hear about the sponsor I would go to the original site. Next time cheat and skip it!

Seriously cool experiment though.
