(i) Animals do not voluntarily ride bicycles, stand on their heads, balance on balls, or jump through rings of fire. They don't perform these and other difficult tricks because they want to; they perform them because they're afraid of what will happen if they don't.

To force them to perform these meaningless and physically uncomfortable tricks, trainers use whips, tight collars, muzzles, electric prods, bullhooks, and other painful tools of the trade.

#4 I'd say when he first started mounting the tennis ball that's exactly what he was trying to do. Budgies need other budgies to live with or they go a little crazy. The ball would have looked like a cuddly girlfriend. Now I think he just gets off on the ride <3

Hey #10 how about you go and mind your own goddamn business? Its people like you that ruin all the joy and fun in a pet's life as well as the purpose of pet ownership. Did the bird look miserable? NO. Was he punished for failing? NO. Its a bird, and it was playing. Don't be such a jackass.
