Nice but its a high speed run , and its not doing standard this speed all the time , but still its speed on a normal day , top speed

Sure they did. JR-Maglev achieved 581km/h. Keep in mind they both hold a world record but in different categories : TGV holds the "Conventionnal Train" at 574km/h, JR-Maglev the "all trains" world record.

And anyway, TGV's record was a speedrun as well, usually it doesn't run at more than 320km/h.

This is very similar to the german designed transrapid train which sadly didnt make it through politics here and now runs in china.

#1 Actually, since there is no wheel, there is no brake. This train float on a magnetic field, so when you want to slow it down, you "just" have to reduce the ignition rate of the magnetic panels.

As mentioned in #10, TGV record was done with a special train: larger wheels, bigger motor, reduced number of wagon, and the section of rails was choosed especially to break the record because the slope was helping.

That's a shame that in France we abandonned the Aerotrain project, it surely would have led to a Maglev-like train, many years ago.

In the same conditions of the TGV it would probably gone even faster, because there is almost no friction to stop it down. Where as the TGV has friction on the rail, on the axles, etc

That beast would make a train simulator to a very challenging game.

No the limit of the TGV is not the friction to stop it, is the tension of the catenary.
When it is rolling, the pantograph that touches the catenary makes a wave on the catenary in font of the pantograph.
More the train speeding, more the wave is near the catenary.
To makes it farthest you have to increase the tension of catenary.
For the last record, the tension was of many tons (i don't remember exactly)!

Imagine a tension of 10 tons on a single copper wire of 5 cm of diameter ...

Did you see that? Three trains in a row travelling at 300mph! I hope they don't catch up with each other.
