I second that. Sounded like Al Pacino "Any given Sunday" speech.

"We're in hell gentleman". Really? Having to play a sport while getting paid millions is hell?

This speech did not help the Canucks win the Stanley cup and their fans showed their displeasure by rioting and burning things in the streets. I remember seeing this on TV. Some of the cops were brutal.

#9 OK dude , how about the same thing that happened when the Canucks lost in 1994? Riots, looting ,burning cars. No fans involved there either? (all the video of both prove many fans were out rioting). And in 1993 when Montreal WON the fans still rioted and caused mayhem. I think it is just in the nature of Canadian fans to riot for just about any reason , whether they win or lose.

Sasquatch , remember you brought this on because you stated that Canuck fans were not involved in the riots, yet every video of the riots showed lots of Vancouver jerseys, and even before the game was over they were throwing beer bottles out on the ice and at the big screen TV's. Get over it already. I never said it was bad , just the facts. The police brutality were the most shocking scenes.
