why can't we just leave tribes like that alone. from now on they never will live the same anymore. Other people will go and hunt them down just because they want to see them, make pictures and movies about them and another civilization will be lost.

#17 It's a shame. However most new "tribes" that are discovered are left untouched and few even know of their existence.

Do most of you even realize how "dangerous" real life is? Did it never cross your mind why you never saw any older humans in their village? I expect their average life span to be around 25-35 or so.

If the world would go under through some devastating event... these are the humans that will progress as they already did fine without any advanced technology. The rest of the world would tremble in chaos and anarchy.

I feel so sad now that someone and possibly loads more will invade their space. Nothing on this earth can go untouched! I know it's interesting and all but they should be left alone, they will never get used to our life.

Surviving in the jungle without modern technology is not simple. There hasn't been a human society yet found where murder is not endemic (the !Kung, AKA Bushmen of the Kalahari, have a higher murder rate than any modern civilization).

There are decent arguments pro and con for offering these tribes the opportunity to enter the modern world. But let's skip the mythologizing.

#17 Yeah that's what you say cause your belief system is based on the noble savage paradigm, but many people say that until they find out that most of those tribes have very dangerous and and bizarre beliefs, like female circumcision, casting out of members with mental diseases claiming to be demonic possesions and cannibalism just to name a few.

But I do share the view that they should be let alone to decide whether they get involve with our way of life or not...just don't share that apocalyptic view of our present and future.
