I am a bit over thirty now and I still don't have a XBox or any similar appliances.

Childhood is terrific, so it is now! :x 8-) :D

I was so lucky to grow up without a cell phone or xbox... I will never forget my childhood :D Summer days never ended, we played games all day (not video games) I always had my knees and elbows scrapped. :S

Kids today stay alone in their bedroom tweeting to all their 500 "friends", when in fact they don't have a single friend... going through the best years of their lives in front of a monitor... sad.

#3 I wanted an NES sooo bad but my parents never got me one... I am thankful myself, seeing how much I love to play now.. I wouldve turned out a different person, my time outside made me study biology etc etc

powerful stuff, yet playful, I also liked the song at least to this vid :)

Most of those swings are band from parks now like the spinning egg that you sat in with the wheel you turned to spin the egg then you fell out when you reached 5000rpm

I remember jumpin out of trees and dumb crap like that when i was a kid it was awesome, and now i have knee and back issues.. life is only fun when you're young.. :|

I am so glad I grew up playing outside for hours, riding my bike, playing with rocks and sand by the creek, picking flowers in the meadows and playing games on the street with my friends. The only time I came in was for meals and bedtime. Not only did I not have electronic games, but even TV time was limited to two or three times a week for maybe an hour. Playing outside with other kids is where important learning for life takes place and wonderful memories are built.
