Cool. But why not just use an ordinary digital camera. Today's CMOS sensors can do miracles with a proper software

A nice evolution, perfect!
It will help a lot for 3d modelling. For exemple, we'll just have to move the mouse everywhere on a girl to get her captured in the 3d software!

Question is WHY one earth are we still scanning things in, I honestly dont know the last time I even picked up a pen .....As for books and the map , are they not all available on-line anyways ?

after you cropped the image, you are told to open up WORD
and if you scanned some text, you can color it in WORD as well.
great mouse scanner, but come one. winXP and Word for image editing?
looks like LG made the mouse and this hotty was told to create the presentation.

#3, for a mouse you need more fps than a regular camera. Say 14000 fps.

when i used OCR software, i never got the text being recognized that easily.
