I wish I never watched anything about placebo's, because every time I eat a pill I think it's a placebo and it doesn't work :(

:D My life's really going better since someone told me that the orange smarties are made of the same ingredients as the pills used in "LIMITLESS".
My slogan: One orange smarties. Anything is possible.

This is your last chance. After this there's no turning back. You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Remember, all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more.

Studies have shown that people who take placebos will die with a 100% certainty, as do people who don't take placebos. There is absolutely no evidence to the contrary as witnessed by morticians all over the world.

"[...] by believing and expecting something to work, IT ACTUALLY DOES" Sounds like "the secret" to me... For a more serious (scientific) look at the placebo effect, you can start here: http://skeptoid.com/episodes/4151

Damn you Snotr! Here I was, minding my own business by taking the red pill since 1999 and just now woke up and realized it was just a dream. Just great!

I was waiting for an elevator in a big city hospital next to an internist. A man came and pushed the elevator button several times and of course nothing happened. I said that the button was strictly a placebo to which the internist replied, "I think not, A placebo works 33% of the time."
