I wish I never watched anything about placebo's, because every time I eat a pill I think it's a placebo and it doesn't work :(

Studies have shown that people who take placebos will die with a 100% certainty, as do people who don't take placebos. There is absolutely no evidence to the contrary as witnessed by morticians all over the world.

I was waiting for an elevator in a big city hospital next to an internist. A man came and pushed the elevator button several times and of course nothing happened. I said that the button was strictly a placebo to which the internist replied, "I think not, A placebo works 33% of the time."
