Four Bit Maze

Four Bit Maze is an electronic mechanical puzzles that is 100% tactile. The object of the puzzle is to move all four sliders from the "0" position to the "1" position. Each challenge has only 16 binary states, and the operation of each challenge is 100% deterministic without any hidden states. Well it isnt a rubics cube, but the concept is very nice.
I dont think i would spend time with this device, but as is said the idea could be implemented in f.e. a computer game so.

At next video we will learn how to waste time, brain activity and electricity without using a finger and having a screen... I wonder, what kind of "flavors" it will have...

Does anybody know how motor faders work? Can you break them when you move them to the "1" position when they want to stay at the "0" position?

Couldnt this be made into a android or iphone app? surely someone is more likely to play and production / roll out would be cheaper? Good looking game though :(|)

#5 Goldmember was cursing in German but did speak with some Dutch accent. The guy in this video is the real deal ;)
Anyway, that kind of toy could be nice for small kids. Just give it different colors and voila :D

The problem is the rules change with each challenge(ie, it doesnt get harder, just changes). So its just a case of trial and error until you figure out the rules. It needs more than 16 states and a clear rule set to be a fun "challenge".

#18 Thats why it got a USB port..you can reprogram it and make your own challenges. (Maybe let them be randomized by a software so you dont know the outcome yourself ;) ) And a normal maze game is naturally a trial&error game
