#1 That wouldn't be a good idea for a couple of reasons (and not the reason you think)
1. Most of the audience is unlikely to be familiar with the Koran and therefore will have difficult to relating to it. It's akin to describing a funny scene from a TV show with a friend who hasn't seen it.
2. Lampooning something from the outside often comes across as offensive. It's a lot funnier (even endearing) if it comes from someone who has experienced it themselves. Think about black jokes made by black people and black jokes made by white people.

#10 The most important reason it "wouldn't be a good idea " is because he would probably come to great harm when the Muslims in those areas heard about his "comedy". Christians and most other religeous types can laugh off jokes,but joking Islam is not tolerated by Muslims. Many of them think that gives them the right to attack the person who offended. The areas that I indicated are considered under Sharia law by the Muslims there. Negative votes won't change the truth.

we do believe in freedom as long as you dont cross the line. you might define t differently. are you free to have sex on public? some might say yes some might not! would you stop them from doing it specially if you have kids around? would you take to them? if they dont stop would force them to stop it?

believe it or not Islam is the most peaceful religion if you apply it in full and not sections.
