600 x 0.25 = $ 150
501 x 0.1 = $ 50.1
313 x 0.05 = $ 15.65
1699 x 0.01= $ 16.99
$ 232.74 + some Canadian coins worth more than 7 hours.

Then he'll return all those coins to bank and get some angry look. :x

Fastforwarding the video is much more pleasant than watching at normal speed which gave me nausea.
Otherwise pretty nice video.

Balanced on a single coin and about to collapse - makes a good graphical representation of many of the world's economies. >:)

Some people have too much free time on their hands.

Why did he pick 3118 coins? Why not 3119? 3200??

Calculating the face value is easy!

600 quarters x 25c = $150

501 dimes x 10c = $50.10

313 nickels x 5c = $15.65

1699 pennies x 1c = $16.99

5 foreign coins = nothing

7 hours of building = priceless

TOTAL $232.74

The nickels and pre-1982 bronze pennies are worth more by weight than they are in face value any more (i.e., the metal is worth more than the coin).

And if there were any pre-1965 silver dimes or quarters they'd be worth about 30x their face value.

Unless it is a Guinness World Record, I don't see the point, beautiful 'art' though.

#14 $232.74 US which is not really much money. I did not figure the worth of the foreign coins he tossed in at the end. I also do not know if he included the starter dime in his dime count.
