That is such an amazing waist of time. It HAD to be funded by the government.
It kind of defeats the prupose of a bike. I mean, how many batteries are required?
And an automatic shifter? Might as well get a motorcycle...........

when I'm struggling to ride up a hill, I want to change to a lower gear with a small effortless hand gesture. Not be exhausted and still have to concentrate hard so I can do the same thing.

Its a publicity stunt. Not a clever design.

The funniest thing I ever saw was a Prius on the side of the highway, out of gas! Those things don't run on magic. It's still just another car with an internal combustion engine.
