The USA is in huge decline, but that's no surprise. People spend most of their income in their food, housing, and healthcare, if they're lucky to cover those expenses and unfortunately due to ever increasing tuition costs and a culture where for some reason stupidity is seen as an asset... Well I guess this is no surprise.

@#7 Americans are like Klingons, they also always looking for a fight/war (otherwise they feel improtant, and the U.S. likes to feel important i think)

What's wrong? It's exactly as it is supposed to be and as it always has been. Europe as the origin of culture and technology is big, China and Japan were also very advanced throughout the history and the third world and the newly settled areas are small.

#1 I remember the Japanese military using that term referring to the US before WW2 and they got their asses handed to them. Some people never learn.

Irish, glad to see you admit you watch every show even though you don't "get it". Keep trying! :D

It does not surprise me either. Generally people in the USA (there are exceptions though)are more interested in American Idol, TV, shopping, and more TV. If you tell them you watch Public television, read Shakespeare, garden or listen to lectures at a college, they look at as if you're not normal and you get questions like, "why would you do that?".
