No offence , really, I also love animals, I really love animals.Especially dogs and hamsters but there are some dogs that you raised it since it was a small new-born puppy, and when he is big he starts to bite you and mutilates you... I've seen tons of cases like this, even persons that I know, or on TV... No offence again, but when I see this kinds of dogs , when you treat him all his life like a member of family with love and affection and at some point he jumps on you and mutilates you.... I would grab a freekin axe or a baseball bat and stab him in the face 10 times in a row. http://www.joblo.com/newsimages1/american%20psycho%20new.jpg If you will downgrade I will understand, but think of what I've said I also plan to get a labrador dog

That's just a dog being a dog.
People forget dogs are by instinct wild animals, if a dog if given something, food etc. by its "alpha" then its going to be protective as all they think is
"He's going to steal my prize, He's going to steal my prize" and in the wild that would end with a bite if the person kept trying to take it
Our dog is just the same, you give him a toy knowing that its his until he comes to you with it to play with you.
Oddly enough we can take food etc away from him and he's fine, its just toys he's protective of.

I can take away everything from my dog, and even there is a fresh saucage on the floor next to his food tray, he asks permisson to eat it. only if something drops on the tray it is his, and he eats it.

#6 and #7: I don't know if some one else understood the old lady but she was actually commanding the dog to guard the toy. In my opinion that's a good dog, and since it didn't bit the guy/girl with the camera, a member of the family I suppose, it's even better dog - guarding but not attacking.

#7 Just a dog being a dog???
Are you freaking retarded? A dog should be severely disciplined the second it shows teeth like that... That means you take the collar and choke it like there's no freaking tomorrow! Otherwise someday it will eat away a child's face or something...
Just unbelievable the kind of stupid shit you can read in the comments...

#14 yeah, thats what i meant. dogs need to know who's the alpha male in the house and #11, he is kind of right Anyway, is it just me, or even other people hates the people who are obsessed about their dogs ? Like they treat dogs much more above than a human being... It's almost like he's insane... I'm just saying. One day I was outside with some friends, in the park, and a man was with his dogs a bit far away from us, and one of the dogs ran to one of my buddies and tried to bit him for no reason, and he said "shoo" a few times to the tog to make it go away, but NOT touched the dog even with a finger, and then the owner came very angry and started to beat my friend with the dog's leash saying continuously " HOW CAN YOU SAY SHOO TO MY DOG ? HOW CAN YOU AFFORD TO SAY THAT TO MY DOG ?! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO SAY SHOO TO MY DOG ? " maaaaan that was freeeeekin awkward, he tried to tell the owner that the dog tried to bit him, but the owner was acting like SATAN himself... that freaked us out... And I've seen other dog owners like that... for all those who act like that : "I wish you a LOT of heat! " AKA BURN IN HELL FOREVER BITCH !!!

He's growling because the lady asks him to guard the toy. This means that she is in charge. Nothing bad here. I read some comments that freak me out here, "choke him like there's no tomorrow". I thought snotr was an animal-loving and humane community! At least try to educate yourselves about canine behaviour before getting a dog.

well, we've been breeding dogs for 2 decades and I have to tell you what this cute dog does instinctively is nothing short of understandable. however, it's a dangerous state of mind for any dog, regardless of it's size. dogs are pack animals, so either you have control over them being the alpha or the other way around. if you reinforce this behavior for them by making no disciplinary action or showing no alpha attitude, eventually this will become their natural behavior and will cause them to make mistakes like biting someone which leads to unwanted situations like getting rid of the "wild" dog, etc.... this can be prevented by training and handling your dog properly. dogs are one of the most amazing friends so it really pays off to make an effort and learn how to handle them so they can be our true companions. over the years we've had over 500 dogs, small and huge, noone ever got hurt. none of them, none of us.
one more thing. being the alpha over your dogs actually makes them more relaxed, because it removes the stress of being a leader who can be challenged. this way they can easily become a full member of your "pack" and be as gentle and playful as everyone pictures the ideal dog for any type of person.

This is what the lady says:
"Make sure that nobody touches Coco, eh? (maybe the doll's name).
Please, only kisses to Coco.
Kisses to Coco. Little kiss to Coco.
Make sure that nobody touches Coco. -Raaawwwwrrrr- NOBODY. Do not let them, eh?
Defend Coco!
No! Don't let! don't let! Don't let!
They are going to take Coco. Coco is yours.
NO! No...
They are taking Coco! They are taking Coco!"

The dogs bodylanguage actually is showing defensive behaviour, not agression. That does not mean that it would not bite you if you'd come too close. It is however perfectly clear to everybody, that the dog does not want anyone close. Ergo, not dangerous if you dont push him too far.
