wouldn't this effect only work in a small range of speed?

Still a very nice innovation.

Looks cool but I think unless side on, a standard led bike light is safer.

And illegal in most EU countries! For good reasons , there confusing to car drivers , there utterly useless , just use a good light and wear a high vis vest and not look like a prat with more money than brains

Nice. :) There's something similar sold for cars, without the blinking though, looks like TRON.

They should make this for bikes in the future so we well be allowed to ride bikes at night. :)

#3 Riding at night without any lights at all is also illegal, but it doesn't stop people from doing it. Better to have these lights, than none at all.

Nobody curious how it knows where it's front and where's rear? ;)

#9 front and rear lights show really well. More information and front/rear views can be found here http://revolights.com/ although I would only use to supplement a good front & rear light combo.

#10 From the website: "A small, fork-mounted magnet and an integrated accelerometer provide speed and orientation data to the rings."
