It might be funny for you or the owner, but the truth is that it's agonizing pain in the dog's eyes. Also dont forget the awful smell that will last at least a month

@3&4 - basicly same discussion going on in the youtube comments of this clip. I think the owner is acting very stupid, he's risking the health of his dog. (even if its not very likely that he sustains permanent damage)

He also has to deal with a stinking dog that he will have to bath at least 5 times to get rid of the smell, so the joke is on him i guess.

Actually most if not all living creatures has a natural fear of fire, as intended. You do not learn to fear fire, you're born to fear it.

Stupid hillbilly. Spray stinks and stings. Don't encourage your dog. Go skin a coon.

Owner is lucky it wasn't more of a spray or he would be choking on the fumes. Also, skunks are one of the leading carriers of rabies so owner needs to think a bit more.

First off all the owner of the dog let it go close to the skunk knowingly expecting the trouble to happen to his dog so that he can enjoy entertaining himself watching his dog go through the pains. This is 100% animal abuse. SPCA should grill this guy. Will this guy let his child go close to the skunk???? >:) >:) >:) >:) >:)
