Poor widdle ant that got sacrificed to feed the dragonfly! Ants have rights too!

Incredible creatures, dragonflies. The bigger ones can deliver a nasty bite, as I found out once while trying to catch one.

#2 Arthropods grow by shedding their skins (armor) so they can expand the new one while its still soft.

If this one isnt fully grown it might regenerate the wing (they can regrow lost limbs this way) but it seems highly unlikely to me. Still sweet :)

I suppose it is a smart idea to get on these creatures´ good side in case evolution makes them bigger than us one day... but I really hope that doesn´t happen :O
