I loved the song, but..
I fucking hate the X-Factor with a fiery passion I can barely contain.

X-FACTOR (ugghh even the name grinds my teeth)..is EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH THE MODERN WORLD! Maybe I'm just getting old, but I'm sorry in my opinion, people these days will like anything...why? because everyone else likes it..why? because the media tells them to..SHEEP...SHEEP who pick corrupt governments, start wars and sheep who keep us in this abundant supply of DESPICABLE MODERN MUSIC!!
#6, I went one worse, but I'm going to keep going! I really don't get the reaction to this performance...First of all it is a ripoff of Kate Nash's "Foundations", with just the words changed around: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryH5cga0yUI
Second of all the verses are quite repetitive..its not THAT witty
And thirdly, even SHE couldn't believe the reaction she got, she even said that her family didn't react that way the first time they heard it!
So why this reaction? Because she was standing on a stage, with lights and camera angles of smiles and people clapping along...The media moguls and teenage girls who are the evil overlords of all you sheep! And yes, I include you lot above!! Don't care if I get downgraded..I GUARANTEE:
Only the sheep will do it

WOW.....a NEW Pam Ayers and Jake Thackery rolled into one and updated at the same time ( If you don't know who I mean google 'em ). As #7 said...a take on of "Foundations"...but so what? most humour relates to something else..she did a good job , wowed the audience...and me :-)

I hate when they pretend this is the first time a musician has ever made a funny song like this. It was okay, but absolutely not that special. If she has success with this, good for her, but it certainly doesn't deserve this kind of a freak out reaction from the crowd and/or judges. It just shows how degenerated and dull our mainstream entertainment industry and their target audience has become and I realize once again why I never bother to watch these kinds of shows. You just have to look at the people in the audience and suddenly you feel like the most sophisticated person on the planet.
There are many people out there, who are MUCH better at this. Jon Lajoie is one of them for example. In fact, he might be the uncrowned king of satirical/comedic music - at least for our generation.

At #7, Jim Jarmusch once said: “Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to.” ......So, your remark on this sweet little song being a ripoff and what not is quite lame. And that ranting about media influence on masses and all other borderline conspiracy theories are telling me you are just one disappointed angry spoiled teen that will probably spend most of her/his best years of life hating everything and everyone around. Without ever realizing life is to short and to precious to be lived like that. There are actually so many nice things in this shitty world you could try to contemplate. Change your dull glasses and try to look at the world from some other POV's.

#12, Hey fair enough, that was your opinion and that was mine...No need to attack me! It is a ripoff..that's the only name for it isn't it? Did I say anywhere that I disliked it? My remark wasn't about her..This 'sweet little song' (which is all that it is), is probably going to sell millions of copies...Just for a minute compare it to our inspirational history....This 'sweet little song' is considered the standard and pinnacle of today's music/media industry. That's the only thing lame around here.
Angry spoiled teen haha, emmm I'm 31..I don't hate everything, I love my family, my friends, my life and my music. The people who watch the X-Factor are wearing those dull glasses that you speak of...Mine are perfectly rose-tinted thanks.
Try reading the first few lines of my comment again, before you accuse me with your very own "Inspirational" opinions.
Jim Jarmusch? Jean-Luc Godard? its about drinking..
One thing I'll give it though, the title doesn't lie...This is where my inspiration lies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuIiAYIsKoc
